Primula denticulata
A rhizome perennial with a rosette of basal leaves and leafless low flower stalks 15-30 cm high. Spherical inflorescences are collected from small, bright flowers of all shades of the rainbow. It has excellent winter hardiness. Varieties of this species feel great in the shade under trees with a loose crown, are suitable for group planting in large artistic rockeries and mixborders.
